The proposal involves continued arms supplies to Ukraine in exchange for the delay in NATO membership.

Trump has claimed he could end the war within 24 hours, with plans reportedly including freezing the war on current front lines and creating a demilitarized zone.

Russia currently occupies approximately 20% of Ukrainian territory in the south and east.

Trump's advisors proposed ceasing military aid to Ukraine unless it agrees to peace negotiations with Russia, with additional warnings of increased U.S. military support if Russia refuses a ceasefire.
