Mexican drug kingpin Ismael 'El Mayo' Zambada and Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman's son, Joaquin Guzman Lopez, were arrested in El Paso, Texas.

Zambada and Guzman Lopez face multiple charges in the U.S. for drug trafficking, including fentanyl.

The arrests were part of a joint operation by the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Zambada and Guzman Lopez were detained after landing in a private plane in the El Paso area.

U.S. authorities had a $15 million reward for Zambada's capture and a $5 million bounty for Guzman Lopez.
