Seventeen former staff members of the late Republican President Ronald Reagan are endorsing the Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris.
Over 230 former officials for Republican presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush have also backed Harris.
Former Reagan staff backing Harris includes Ken Adelman, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and U.S. arms control director under Reagan, and B. Jay Cooper, the special assistant and deputy press secretary to Reagan.
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library did not invite Trump to speak in their speaker series because he is a former president.
CBS News polling indicates that Harris and Trump have near total support with their party's voters, with Harris having a slight edge over Trump with moderate voters in battleground states.
