Home and Garden Television (HGTV) announced a new show called Straight White Gentrifiers.

The show will follow a 28-year-old Caucasian couple as they buy homes in Black and Hispanic neighborhoods and evict tenants.

The series aims to highlight the impact of gentrification on home prices in these neighborhoods.

Straight White Gentrifiers has proven popular with test audiences and has already been spun off into several new series.

The announcement was made by HGTV programming executive Loren Ruch.
