Condé Nast and OpenAI have struck a multi-year deal allowing OpenAI to use content from Condé Nast's properties.
The deal will enable OpenAI to surface stories from outlets like the New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Bon Appetit, and WIRED in ChatGPT and SearchGPT.
Condé Nast CEO Roger Lynch emphasized the importance of proper attribution and compensation for the use of their intellectual property.
Specific terms of the partnership have not been disclosed, and OpenAI declined to comment on the deal's terms.
Other media companies like The Atlantic, Axel Springer, and TIME have also made similar deals with generative AI companies.
