Explosions at the Russian-controlled Olenivka prison barracks killed more than 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war and injured dozens more.

Independent investigations into the attack have stalled or been abandoned.

An AP investigation interviewed survivors, family, and investigators and obtained an internal U.N. analysis.

The internal U.N. analysis and interviews pointed to Russia as the culprit.

The explosions occurred on July 29, 2022, at the Olenivka prison camp in eastern Ukraine.
