As of January 1, 2025, Poland's minimum hourly wage increased to 30.50 zloty, equivalent to $7.35, surpassing the US federal minimum wage of $7.25 for the first time.
Poland's minimum wage is adjusted annually on January 1, and additionally mid-year if inflation exceeds 5%.

The Polish government estimates that the new minimum wage will benefit over 3 million workers and result in additional costs of 11.8 billion zloty for small and medium-sized enterprises and 3.2 billion zloty for large companies.
Inflation in Poland peaked at 18.4% in February 2023, leading to a record minimum wage hike of 21.5% year-on-year in January 2024, although inflation has since decreased but remains high compared to other EU countries.
